Innovative Treatment tracks at GIM

What's new at Gingko? We've set intention to provide you with deeper sanctuary.

This week, we are adding PEMF infrared mats to our treatment tables. The vision is empathic conversations steeped in clinical experience from my 20+ years of practice.

Introducing: innovative program tracks designed to support YOU more comprehensively

Track One: Acupuncture aesthetics

For years, patients have asked about Chinese medicine for skin + hair regeneration. A substantial body of research resides in the benefit of Acupuncture Aesthetics. To meet our Gingko standards, it would need to be individualized, vetted for results and safety + implemented by a dedicated expert with advanced training. Enter Lauren.

Starting this October, we'll add Holistic Acu-facials and Microneedling to Gingko's offerings. Lauren will see patients on Fridays and Saturdays, offering her results-oriented care. The holistic AcuFacial is an excellent tool for skin; reducing fine lines, improving circulation and radiance. We'll employ skin care from Toma, a purity-focused skin care line created by Acupuncturists/Herbalists meeting European standards and safety profiles for pregnancy, breastfeeding and all phases of the hormonal arc.

Microneedling, a truly regenerative therapy for skin remodeling, will employ Toma's research-backed tool to assure personalization for your skin type. We will also employ nano needling; a gentler setting that's safety-studied for women during pregnant or with especially sensitive skin.

For the month of October, we will offer 1hr AcuFacial for $200 (ongoing rate will be $250) and 1hr Microneedling for $350 (with neck/decollete add-on for $50; ongoing rate of $425, $75 neck). Microneedling includes a 5 day "post-care kit" of Toma remedies supporting the acute remodeling which optimizes your results. Downtime is minimal.

The founder of Toma has developed a hair regeneration protocol employing microneedling to support women with thinning or spot hair loss (common in the perimenopause transition). A course of three treatments is advised for this protocol.

For the month of October, buy a package of three treatments for just $1050!

Track two: Health Coaching; Women's virtual group and one-on-one

Alyssa and I draft precise care plans to meet your objectives. We want to assure your success in implementation. As such, we've added a health coaching track for patients. Read about our Functional Medicine trained Health Coach, Julie Griffiths, here.

Health coaching will scaffold our work in two ways.

4 week telehealth Women's Health Implementation Group

πŸ“… When: October 16

πŸ•–Time: 7-8 pm.

Julie will lead the group, using tools from health coaching to guide patients in practical implementation. Each week will have a novel theme, identify your individual goals and brainstorm steps towards actualizing + accountability.

Topics such as:

  • Blood Sugar management

  • Recovery and nervous system practices

  • Sleep and circadian optimization

  • Setting a daily plan for balanced energy and metabolism

The group will begin Oct 16th and run for 4 weeks; a run up to the holiday season so you approach that phase with sustainable habits for well-being.

Julie will also be available for 30 minute telehealth meetings one-on-one. This is available both for patients enrolled in the group and patients in our larger care cohort. Those who are looking for practical granularity in implementation and troubleshooting. Julie will partner with Alyssa and I, privy to our insight on your clinical goals and can be your ally in execution.

Please contact our Patient Liaison, Deb, to sign up for the group or schedule a Monday telehealth visit with Julie. (Deb@gingkointegrative.com)

Workshop alert!

Rachel was invited to The Pelvic Path in San Rafael to give a (free) lecture on Demystifying Perimenopause. Please share with your friends! The hope is to reach women who may be grappling with the "noise" around this decade and offer nuanced perspective.

A goal this year is to engage in more public education. The hope is to engage women in empathic conversations steeped in research and clinical insight from my 20+ years of practice.
